DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER is an RPG taking place in the Digimon universe that is coming later this year. Bandai Namco has announced a new Digimon game developed by Media Vision Inc. where the human and digital worlds clash.
The story-driven game is the first DIGIMON STORY game to come out in 10 years, revisiting a nostalgic franchise later this year for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

An RPG For Beginners
DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER is a simple RPG where players travel between worlds, joining quests and taming Digimon along the way. The Digimon are found in the Digital World: Illiad. Humans and Digimon work together to forge bonds, evolve abilities, and unravel a deep mystery that takes them through time and across worlds. According to a press release, players will even explore “never-before-seen elements” of the Digimon universe.
One exciting aspect of the game is the strategic, turn-based combat. Digimon can be customized and bonds are developed in a robust training system. There will be plenty of Digimon with unique abilities to discover, making the combat quite varied.

The response to the trailer has been largely positive, with Digimon fans excited to have another game — especially from this older series.
