Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 developer Warhorse Studios has released a new update for its smash-hit RPG, bringing new improvements and bug fixes to the title on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The latest update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available to download right now on all supported platforms and brings the game version to 1.1.2.
Seven years after the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse Studios finally released the highly anticipated sequel earlier this month. In just two weeks, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has proved to be a massive hit, selling two million copies, boasting an impressive “very positive” review rating on Steam, and peaking at well over 250,000 concurrent players on the platform. While the title has received favorable reviews from both players and critics, it hasn’t been without its fair share of bugs and performance issues. Thankfully, Warhorse Studios has released a brand-new update that aims to address some of the most important problems plaguing the game right now.

More Games Should Copy Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Auto-Follow Feature
I hate having to follow NPCs, and even more so if I can’t match their pace. KCD2 (for the most part) bids farewell to those moments of frustration where you are either too fast or too slow for the person you’re trying to escort by having an Auto-Follow feature, and I really think more devs should implement this in their games from now on.
Patch 1.1.2 is available to download now for all Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 players, bringing a whole host of fixes and improvements. The update has multiple stability fixes, which should see fewer crashes when looking at certain locked doors and chests or when opening the horse inventory. There is also a platform-specific fix for users on the Epic Games Store, as Warhorse Studios has now addressed a bug that was preventing achievements from being completed after longer than an hour of play. Multiple other quest-specific fixes and stability improvements are also detailed in the full patch notes, which can be found further down this article.
While no new content is included in the latest update, Warhorse Studios has big plans for the future of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. In a post-launch roadmap that was shared back in January, the studio revealed that it has plans for three new expansions between Summer and Winter. The first expansion will be called “Brushes with Death” and will be released in the Summer, followed by “Legacy of the Forge” in Autumn and “Mysteria Ecclesia” in Winter. But before these three new DLC expansions are released, Warhorse says it will be launching free content updates in the Spring, which will include a new barber feature, a hardcore mode, and horse racing.
If free updates and three pieces of DLC aren’t enough, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will also receive mod support at some point in the future. Although an official release date has yet to be announced, Warhorse took to social media on February 12 to confirm that official modding support for the RPG is coming via Steamworks and urged fans to stay tuned for more details soon.
