“PSO2 New Genesis ver.2” update on February 19!

PSO2 New Genesis ver.2 (NGS ver.2), the latest in the “Phantasy Star Online 2” online RPG series, was updated on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, adding new elements to the “Luciel Search”. In addition to the sectors added on February 5, 2025 (Wednesday), “Luciel Search” now includes increased enemy levels, new enhanced player abilities, and the “Luino Griffon” as a boss enemy!

New Player Capabilities

The new player ability enhancement is an additional attack effect when PA/technique hits the target, which will be a good match for PAs with a lot of moves and will be powerful.

Enemy Level Increase

The new “Stun” effect is unique, as is the ability to enhance an enemy’s level after it has returned from a downed state.

Limited-time tasks have also been added.

Ektasvance I”, “Ektasvance II”, and “Progressive Grinder” can be obtained by completing tasks.

New equipment is now available!

The “Trestasis Armor” series of Rarity 10 armor can now be upgraded to new equipment! The upgraded Rarity 11 armor “Acoltasis Armor” series has higher HP, PP, and damage resistance, as well as a +6.5% weapon increase!

The items needed for the upgrade can be obtained through the “Luciel Search” as well as through content that will be released in future updates.

A new AC Scratch, “Extra AC Support Select,” will be available on February 19!

A new AC scratch “Extra AC Support Select” will be available! The new “Rase” type special ability is characterized by a large increase in power with a small lower power limit compensation.

Since it is a different special ability group from the “Nadi” type, it can be given at the same time as the “Nadi” type! The distribution period is from Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (after maintenance) to Wednesday, March 12, 2025 (11:00).
